Valentine's day is coming up and I'm getting ready to decorate the house all in love and was thinking about things that I love. We ordered out last night at our favorite restaurant and I realized I have totally fallen in love with Phoenix. It's still not my favorite city (Favorites: San Francisco, Seattle, Park City), but for where we are now in our lives right now Phoenix ain't to bad. Because I love lists and this post is all about love I'm going to list my favorites about Phoenix.

  1. I'm still in the "Valley" but I get the city vibe.
  2. I'm still close to family, but not to close.
  3. I feel hip because we go to out to cool hipster restaurants.
  4. Every house and building is different (Say no to clone homes).
  5. Close to all the action (Baseball, concerts, and downtown).
  6. This one is my favorite-No more super slow old drivers (Snow birds are not fans of the city livin).
  7. I live five minutes from work and can go home for lunch.
  8.  Antique shops EVERYWHERE!
  9. Sold by the pound fabrics
  10. Wonderful Hikes are less than a hour drive away
  11. Nice long walks at the Biltmore with my hubby.
  12. An awesome ward where everyone is so kind and welcoming.
Thanks Phoenix for being a fun waiting room for us until we move on to bigger cities.

Well it's a new year and time for looking back at last year and making some changes for the next. Will and I make fun of all the cheesy New Years posts everyone does, but I'm about to do it, so feel free to make fun. I want to cap off last year and set some goals for this year, so here we go.

This year was AMAZING to say the least. Got engaged to my honey, started two awesome jobs, got married to my honey, moved to Phoenix and started my new life as a wife. Last year was definitely the year of new adventures and of firsts. I was able to travel to new places and got to go with my best friend which makes traveling so much more fun! The favorite thing about last year is that I got to start over and start everything with a fresh start. Last year was for sure my favorite year.

Here are some my favorite pictures from this year-

Okay,  I'm done with the cheese, now to get down to business with goals for this year.

This year will also be full of changes as well and hopefully (cross my fingers) everything will go smoothly. This year we want to start looking for a forever place, whether it is a house here or move somewhere far away. We want to settle down and find a home to start a family. We both want to get smarter whether we both decide to go back to school or grow our resumes, so we can have more opportunities in our careers. We want to be smarter financially, get a budget and stick to it and have a year plan for our expenses. We/I want to travel more and have more adventures. I would love to take Will to England to meet my friends and family there. I would love to go somewhere both of us haven't been like Greece or Australia. And I hope to fall more in love with my honey because this year will mark our first year together for forever.
